A slow Saturday, sketched out for you. Brunch first, obviously.

    10:00

    Brunch at Olden

Start slow with poached eggs, pancakes or the full Olden breakfast, and a flat white or two.

  2. Old streets and rooftops of Lewes town

    11:30

    Up to Lewes Castle

A few minutes uphill from the High Street. Climb the Norman keep for views right across town.

  3. Rolling green hills of the South Downs under an open sky

    13:00

    Out onto the Downs

Lewes sits inside the South Downs National Park, so big skies and chalk paths are never far away.

  4. An orange aperitivo cocktail on the bar

    17:00

    Back for an aperitivo

Boots and all. Pull up a stool for a spritz and something salty before supper.
